The story of Saurabh and Muskan
Saurabh Rajput, a 29-year-old former merchant navy officer, and Muskan Rastogi got married in 2016. They also have a daughter. Saurabh decided to leave his job and spend his time with his family, but this decision became the reason for tension in his family. Eventually, both of them moved in separately.
Muskan and Sahil’s relationship
In 2019, Muskan contacted her old school friend Sahil Shukla. The relationship between the two deepened and the relationship turned into a love affair. When Saurabh came to know about this, their relationship became even more tense.
Beginning of conspiracy
Muskan and Sahil made a plan to get Saurabh out of the way. From November 2024 itself, Muskan started planning to kill her husband. He searched about sedatives on Google and tried to get sleeping pills from the doctor Meerut Murder Case.
Bottle gourd and sleeping pills
On 3 March 2025, Saurabh came home with bottle gourd made by his mother. Muskan took advantage of this opportunity and found sleeping pills in the bottle. When Saurabh became unconscious, Muskan called Sahil and both of them together killed Saurabh.
Bloody Night
That night, Muskan and Sahil together stabbed Saurabh multiple times with a knife. This incident was so brutal that the listeners were shocked. On one side, the husband had left everything for his family, while on the other side, the wife and her lover were planning to kill him.
Arrangement of the dead body
After the murder, Muskan and Sahil cut Saurabh’s body into 15 pieces and put them in a big plastic drum and filled it with cement. Meerut Murder Case they kept this drum in a rented house in Indira Nagar, Meerut. They thought that this way they would hide Meerut Murder Case their crime.

The police arrested Muskan and Sahil. After interrogation, both of them confessed their crime. They told how they together carried out this heinous crime. The whole city was shaken by their confession.

On 19 March 2025, Muskan and Sahil were presented in court and sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Outside Meerut Murder Case the court, some lawyers attacked both of them, which shows the anger of the society. Police has to deal with the situation
